Set top box or signal

Hi guys n gals

My pace 1000 stb has had middle light on/flashing/off in a loop for about 48 hours now. looking in event log there's plenty happening.
164. Failure to lease address with DHCP
173. CM periodic ranging fail
171. unicast ranging fail
56. SDT transport error
165. Failed to read config file
167. failed to get time of day

I had no internet at all yesterday so rang "india" who just said i needed an engineer but i would have to ring back today.

It's now today

and i seem to have internet connection back. The last problem in the event log was for 7 am "periodic ranging fail". Question is do i arrange for an engineer anyhow or could all these errors be a signal problem outside the house that has now been rectified

I would monitor it for a while, but it comes back I would book a tech. Could be stb or signal. (most likely signal as it works again.)

touch wood its been stable for about 12 hours so fingers crossed.
