Re: Youview to be rebranded?
Well that isn't rebranding Youview then!
That is another company releasing their own Youview box with their name on it.
BT & Talk Talk use Youview boxes already, so if Plusnet also launch one then there is norebrand just another supplier.

Re: Youview to be rebranded?
The PlusNet TV service seems to be live. Lots of extra channels available to PlusNet customers on 15Mb+ fibre. We have a Humax Freeview box and the chanels all just appeared. Very interesting selection, depends on costs. More info here (though still not mention of costs, you have to phone!)...

Is anyone using this yet? Unfortunately our new build house only has a 1.5Mb line...

BIB
The costs are here and it seems quite reasonable, if you already have the phone and BB, although not sure whether you have to pay £200 for the box and then £50 to get it activated?

Re: Youview to be rebranded?
Thanks for the info. Package prices are ok, but they really are taking biscuit with their hardware prices.

You get the hardware free don't you if you subscribe to the £5pm TV service. The £50 one-off installation/activation for the PVR is the only extra cost for the PVR if a TV subscriber
A key constraint is the lack of channels including no BT Sport, Sky Sports or indeed any Sky channels.

The pricing really isn't very clear although a phone call would clear it up.

Re: Youview to be rebranded?
When trying to view one of the new channels - they do actually advise to call "we need to talk to you". Guess it's testing the water for them too with regards to what people are willing to pay.
