ntl's September offerings

Does anyone know if the 2 for £20 will be available in September? I did get a student flyer through a few months ago from an ntl sales person but have since lost the guy's number! Anyway, i'm moving house tomorrow so cancelled current ntl contract (channels just disappeared tonight!) and do want to get it installed again in the new place, but would like tv and BB internet but not phone as i never really use the phoneline. Trying to establish whether to hold out for a few days until Sept or whether just to go ahead and order the 3 for £30 ASAP?

Any input appreciated!

when I phoned a couple of weeks ago, the 2 for £20 offer was available, but I got swayed by the offer of discounts off my current bill instead!

Re: ntl's September offerings

I had my free box installed on Friday. No added cost what so ever on top of my line rental.

The 2 for £20, 3 for £30 and 4 for £40 deals have started but are not yet publicised. They give you any 2, 3 or 4 base packages of phone, TV, broadband or mobile.

Re: ntl's September offerings

So NTL will allow you to take the TV service and Broadband service without the need or charge of an NTL line?

Thought I read something here about it being what they claimed it to be?

I'm assuming you mean for the FREE tv if you have their phone line? Did you get the Samsung box? and was the installation free?

I can confirm the 2 for 20 offer, I signed up last month and installed last Friday.

It should be noted it is the Select Pack and not Base Pack for the TV side though.

If you subsequently change the TV channels then standard rates will apply for broadband, tv etc i.e. you lose the offer.

I have clarified this with 3 different CS people to make sure I have 2 for 20 on my account primarily because what the sales people say and then you get charged are normally different!
