Best Broadband Provider
Does anyone know a good provider that offers atleast 2MB Broadband or Up To 8MB for between £17.99-£19.99 with atleast 40GB usage every month, but not Telewest or NTL.
I can't get Telewest in my area, and i'm currently with NTL

Re: Best Broadband Provider
There is a list of some providers here you can search through them, and see which ones take your fancy.
I know Tiscali do something that you ask for, but not sure how reliable they are. After all, you get what you pay for.

Re: Best Broadband Provider
Thank you, i'm not being picky here, but i'd also like a ISP which doesn't block P2P or ports.

Re: Best Broadband Provider
If you check the link I gave, you will find a link to the message boards on the left hand menu. Have a look through some of the ISP forums, I really don't know about other ISP's, whether or not they block ports.
The Tiscali forum can be found here http://bbs.adslguide.org.uk/postlist...&Board=tiscali

Steer clear of Clara.net useless bunch of whatsits.
At the moment zen seem to be rating quite well. It's difficult really, one day an ISP seems quite reasonable. The next they might go off the boil. Even the good companies have their moments. It seems a bit needle in haystack to me

Just be ready to leave them at short notice, I wouldn't be too optimistic of their performance holding up.
Uncapped 8Mbit @ £25 / month = leech magnet = bad performance or caps / throttling.
