Weird Remote Control Problem

My remote control doesn't seem to be working properly. It's only one button that's affected: the 'TV' button (the one that shows the now&next e.pg.).

What happens is that when you press it, instead of showing the now&next, it moves the channel up one instead! Weird or what?!!

All other buttons work fine. It's only started happening recently (last few days). I've taken the batteries out of the remote and put them in again - no joy. I've rebooted the set top box by unplugging it for a minute or so - still no joy.

Any ideas/help? Thanks peeps.

Old batteries can cause all kinds of unlikely malfunctions. Have you tried putting new ones in?

I haven't tried new batteries yet. I'll give that a try.
