Ok i went on holiday for 2 weeks, now before i left i was on 300kb conection and could download a max of say 40kb/sec
now i just got back and started to download something and now im downloading at 100-150kb/sec on ALL sites i download from.
apple.com
avg
downlaod.com
and such.
now i never asked to be upgraded in anyway.
whats going on? i get my internet through my tv, i live in bromley, kent, now im not complaining about the speed, but i just want to know whats going on.

NTL have started to phase out the old 300K broadband, so are upgrading the 300K users to 1 Meg. See here for details

If you opted out, you will be temporarily upgraded to 1Mb, then returned to 300Kb at some point. I think it's meant to tempt you.
