My sync lights dead
I have a Ambit 200 and my RDY Light is constantly lit, previously the SYNC Was also constantly lit..
Past few weeks, the light hasnt been on although my connection is perfectly fine..
Anything to worry about?

Have you tried to reset the Modem?

What version of windows is it? If it's XP check the IP address Start->Run->type in cmd and then type ipconfig at the DOS screen if the IP address is 192.168.100.10 or 3 on the end you need to give tech support a ring. 0845 650 0121 they'll tell you if a) There is an area ouatge or b) you need an engineer

If you've got a connection through the modem, then there's nothing to worry about. It probably just means the LED has failed.
If the connection stops working, then worry.

I had this a few days ago on my ntl 200.. it was alll working perfectly - I'd just downloaded a 4.3gb 'iso'  before I noticed it.
I suspected the LED had failed - but when I Rebooted the cable modem the light came back on.
If it's all working ok - then I wouldn't worry about it.

The modem itself is functioning fine, it has a signal and my connection is still going strong...
Just the LED wont come on whether the modem is rebooted or not whereas it used to blink and remain on when cold booted.

It's a firmware bug. I've also had this happen, and service has been completely fine.

Same here, Ready lamp is lit while the Sync is not, my connection seems to be working fine, will reboot the modem in a moment.

One reboot later and the Sync lamp is now working again, wierdness abounds!
