DVD factory 3 not launching ???

DVD factory 3 not launching ???

Hi all

Hit a problem with DVd Movie Factory not working.

When I launch it I can choose 'Make data disc' but then nothing happens it's as if it can not see my CD or DVD drive/burner !

Any ideas

Any updates available for it or maybe try re-installing it. Also if you are running XP try looking in the task manager to see what is going on with it.

Is it just the program that isn't picking up your drive or is it also
not being picked up by your PC?
If it's the former, then try a re-install as already suggested.
If the latter, try uninstalling the secondary IDE channel and reboot to
force it to be detected.

Tried re insatll did not work..................not sure how to do the second. System is Windows 2000. Any advice please. Thanks

R/click My Computer>properties>hardware>device manager
scroll down to IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers
R/click on the secondary channel>uninstall and reboot.
