CPU temp monitoring
Just wondered what you peeps are using to monitor your temps? I`ve done a google and it seems there is a ton of stuff out there but..........which one is best.

I use Asus Probe which you get with Asus Motherboards.
Everest is also very good and tells you everything you need to know about your PC too.

I tend to recommend "Motherboard Monitor" or "SpeedFan" which can control the speed or your fans (as if you didn't guess) as well as temperature monitoring.

I've used Speedfan for a while now and find it excellent - and I don't even use the fan speed control! ;-)
I particularly like the tray icon that continually shows whichever temperature you select.

Where did you see that?
Doesnt say so on http://mbm.livewiredev.com/download.html
Just checked a few download mirrors and they seem to be free,the install certainly doesnt suggest otherwise.

Well i downloaded everest, and it seems to work for me.
CPU is running at 35C and case/MB is 25C

I have laptop running pentium 4,2.40ghz and is always noisy would love it to be quiet,am i dreaming or will this never happen.Its on a stand with air getting in,did download speedfan but cannot get on with it really most probarly me,it says its running at 51c at mo and no mention of fans in configure.
Is it something i have to live with having a laptop cheers...
