Now do we expect another situation whereby we have to try and decide which will be the winner and buy the hardware accordingly.Like VHS or BETA?

In my case no.I'll wait and see who wins FIRST.

There will probably be a dual format drive out not long after launch..

Yeah a duel one is likely but still one format will win. HD-DVD is a good one and is similer to DVD which is nice. Blue-ray stores more but is also more prone to not working if damaged.

I think thats the case anyway
