Hi Folks , I am having problems with my sanyo tv and I need some advise please . The problem started this morning and I have been trying all day to get the tv working.
There seems to be no power getting to the tv but I have changed the plug cheacked the fuse does anyone know of anything else I can try is there any fuses inside the tv that I can check ??. Thanks Alex,

Is it under any warranty and do you feel confident in opening up a piece of equipment and putting yourself at risk of electrical shock??
Also, did you check the socket is working, check the plug for loose wires or the main cable for damage?

I wouldn't you recommend open up a TV, unless you are a qualified repair person. There are parts within a TV that carry high voltages, and touching these can kill you.

Wasn't really my question Have you checked the mains lead for damage? Double checked the plug wiring, checked the socket is fully functional?

I agree try it on another socket, also worth saying does it run a extension lead?

Raikkonen won
If it's an internal fuse that has blown you could in theory fix it yourself but as I and Stu pointed out above there are bits on the inside of the telly that can cause serious injury if touched. Have you a repair shop you can get a quote from if necessary?
