Is it possible to dynamically monitor diagnostics on a virgin media hub 3 ?

Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to query the virgin media hub 3 for error diagnostics (such as RS errors, FECs) and channel status parameters (such as DS SNR, DS Power) from a remote machine ?

So that they can be constantly monitored dynamically via some sort of script ?

Also the DS diagnostics page includes pre and post RS errors - does anyone know if these are periodically updated and if so how often ? Do they report the accumulated errors since uptime ?

http://192.168.100.1/getRouterStatus should get you a list of stats from your hub. I think it's in SNMP format, but I'm not sure. Feel free to look at the above to see how to parse it.

It's essentially exactly what you're after, but designed as an addon script for Asus routers running a custom firmware. However that repository should contain all you need as a reference to write something specific for yourself.
