Is VM RG6 Siamese Cable Direct Burial Rated?

Hi,

I had a cable re-pull 3 weeks ago, and whilst most of the cable is in the green conduit, there is the odd section where the cable is just buried in soil, such as a foot or so length of cable from when it comes through a hole in my garden wall (below ground level) before the green conduit starts.

Is this cable OK for direct burial in soil or will it perish over time?

Should I dig the soil out and place some conduit around it (the split type)

Thanks

That cable will be there long after you've left this earth. As long as it's not damaged of course by your goodself whilst tending the roses
