bought a dell monitor from amazon - anyway i can check its in good condition? screen

is there any apps/settings i can check to see if the screen is in good condition etc and as it should be

ive done a pixel test and it appears fine
not sure if there is automated script that i can run etc?

Nope. Testing a monitor requires you to look at it with your eyes. There's no script that can do that for you.

What drivers do you have? Some driver packages have a test program that can tell you what resolutions the monitor can run at, plus do several other tests.
