Post Sky LivingIT is only displayed in the middle of the screen.

I got a new panasonic 42" plasma tv the other day and connected my virgin box (basic) with it using an HDMI cable.

I noticed that certain channels like Sky LivingIT are only displayed in the middle of the screen. But during commercials picture does fit the screen.

Any thoughts?

I did change the setting on the virgin box to 1080 and even tried 1080 wide but to no avail.

Could it be that the programme is not in wide screen. Unless you set your box to stretch the picture that is what you will get. Home & Health is the same ( 19 kids & counting)

Also be aware that some channels add side panels to 4:3 programmes and push them out as widescreen, so stretching the picture may not have the desired effect.
