Been out all day up to 6.00pm, found my connection to internet just about stopped.
Getting 2.5Mb down 0.25Mb up, rebooted still no improvement.
Above readings checked against 2 online checkers both agree.
Anyone hailing from Leeds having similar problems.

Thanks for the feedback Hugh, done a trace through various servers - Seacroft seems to be slowing everything down.
(Seems there are outstanding problems in Leeds - According to community forum?)
