Very slow download speeds for several weeks

Hi,

I'm new to this forum and was wondering if anyone has heard what's going on in area 21 (caford, Lewisham). I've been getting very slow download speed for several weeks (see below)

Virgin Media are being vague as to the nature of the problem and I keep getting shoved from one dept to another. They don't reply to complaints through their website. All they will say is the problem will be ongoing until mid December!

I'm seriously thinking of ditching all my Virgin services and just going to BT.

Any advice on how to get some proper customer service will be appreciated.

Re: Very slow download speeds for several weeks

My speeds are up and down too (more down than up) Warrington area 20. I phoned Virgin last week and they changed my hub but the internet has been shocking all week, I would love to know whats going on because right now I think I would be better off with just about any other BB provider which is not the norm because the ADSL lines can only get 3-4meg in my area, however with fibre now available from BT and Talktalk there are other options. It would be a shame to leave Virgin because of poor internet because fast reliable BB is why i have been with them for so long.
