Swapping V Box for VHD

A friend of mine has no interest in a V+ or Tivo, but would like to swap her 10 year old Pace V Box for a new V HD Box. Anyone know how much this would cost. Cheers.

Re: Swapping V Box for VHD

Hi ncfc1902, sorry to hijack your thread....

I read this with interest as I am in a similar position. I am on XL with the old silver Samsung box. This upgrade would interest me, it it was just for the one off payment and a self install...
I suppose I could always get two, one for upstairs?
Or indeed keep the Samsung and put that one upstairs.

Ben, what would the cost options be and how quick would I be able to get myself one of these V-HD boxes please?

Many Thanks Guys :-)

Save £49.95 with VHD: 12m contract applies. Existing customers who have a VHD box without HD activated can activate HD for free (normally £49.95). Existing customers who want to upgrade to a VHD box must take a quickstart installation for £20 to get the VHD fee waived (normally £49.95). Offer only available online, for a limited period, while stocks last.

It would cost £20 for 1 box and no monthly fee

Re: Swapping V Box for VHD

The only form can only be used to upgrade existing STBs.

For additional boxes quickstart is only available for swaps i.e replacing one type of active box for another. If you don't have an active box in the room you want it, that's an engineer vist
