I have noticed that in the last 24hrs that the 50Mb service is about half speed when checking speedtest.net on the London server hosted by tranceFM. The ping is around 60ms and it struggles to hit 25Mbps. Upload doesn't seem to be badly affected. Is anyone aware of an issue as I have checked the Virgin Media status page and no issues are reported?
Status page almost never reports performance issues, only outages (and major ones at that). And usually doesn't till 6 hours after the fact.
I'm getting 30-40 off the TranceFM server which seems par for the course since they changed me onto a super congested/broken set of channels a couple days ago...
Have you tried any other speedtest.net servers? TFM is never one of the better ones IMO...
