AP:52 error on V+ and no internet
Hi,
After many years of reliable TV and internet service from the various cable companies (C&W, NTL and now VM) at my home there has been a real deterioration over the past 6 months, so after years of lurking I thought to finally post on CF.
For the 2nd consecutive day I have returned home to find that my STB is not functioning (AP:52 error) and my cable broadband is down, even though the Virgin Media status page says that there is "Good" service here in HP21.
After spending 40 minutes on the technical support lines yesterday (the end result of which was that an technician was booked for next week but then I was sent a text an hour later to say that the appointment was cancelled as they had identified an 'issue in your area') I am loathed to go through that rigmarole again.
Although, on principal, I feel like getting £2 credit on my account for the lack of service as a CS was kind enough to offer to me at the end of the lengthy call yesterday...
