I want to move my TV the another end of the room so I need to extend the cable. Can anyone tells me what kind of cable and connector I should buy? I use V HD box.

As you can get kits from 99p a metre complete with crimped F connectors with 2 male to male connectors also supplied why would you want to buy a crimper.

Re: What cable and connector V HD box uses?

Anyone know the exact spec for the cable?

My brother is looking to re-locate his STB & router a few metres further away from the point on the wall. He had some satellite cable from his Ex-Sky days, it looked a lot thinner than the VM installed cable so I suggested he tested it for a week or so before running it under the floor boards. Good thing too as his internet played up after a couple of days.

£99 to move a TV about 12 feet away from where it is. I wish i would have got extra cable years ago when i originally had it fitted.

Re: What cable and connector V HD box uses?

Thanks. I'll give that a go and if it works i'll cancel Virgin. It's a lot cheaper than £99.
