can't up load photo's to ebay

since last Sunday i've been puttting 10 records on ebay a day with photos. since it's been raining today i thought i would put 60+ records on.
when i struggled to upload no. 35 photo i did a speed test.the downloads speed i got was 18mb (i'm on virgin media 20mb xl package) but the upload speed didn't register.
have i been capped by virgin for uploading to many photo's ?

ps i restarted both modem and router (connected via ethernet).

Re: can't up load photo's to ebay

they do throttle upload speed at certain times of the day but i guarantee you that uploading photos wouldn't trigger it and even if it did, it wouldnt cause your connection to drop altogether. It is more likely that there was a fault at the time with your connection/area which affacted your upstream which is why you couldn't upload photos nor get a response from your speed test. Have a look at your modem config and see if you have got a lot of T3 and T4 timeouts.
