Re: what should my upload speed be on 30mb

Depends on the CMTS you are on .. should be about 3Mb if its been upgraded .. near 2 if not ..

No, the provisioning (and config files) for non-upgraded areas is 1mb upload. That result is perfectly spot on.

Here I am correcting VM staff.

3mbit if in uplifted area.
1mbit if not in uplifted area, I will do a gut guess you not in a uplifted area so thats a good speed test result.

Re: what should my upload speed be on 30mb

From the looks of your speed test, you're not in an upgraded area, so your upload should be 1Mb, your result is perfect. Once upgraded 3Mb will be normal.

Indeed, its as I put in the very first post...

so assuming I havent yet been 'upgraded' is there anything I need to do?

Or will it simply auto-update itself over the course of time to the 3mb speed.

Once your area is upgraded you will get the new upload speed.
