Superhub, so far, so good!
Superhub arrived today after a slight mixup over time of delivery.
I installed it easily, called up activate, and the call was answered immediately. It all all went like clockwork. It connected to a Mac, two desktop PCs, two laptops, an Apple TV, an iPhone and an iPad.
Top marks for speed, checked several times and got 30MB each time.
I read on this forum about making some configuration changes to improve reliability. Can some kind soul remind what they are please.

Login go to Services and remove the ticks for ipflood protection and firewall and click save, if no change they are easily reinstated.

Fantastic! I'm thinking of upgrading to 100mb and so will get the supehub. I notice you have a lot of apple equipment which is capable of operating at 5ghz. Do you have the superhub set to that or 2.4ghz?
Regards
John.

John,
I'm just getting used to it and I haven't changed anything from the default settings. All I can say at present is that the Apple TV streams HD beautifully and I have just been watching the Shuttle launch on NASA TV in HD on my iPad.
I'm conscious of the issues experienced by members of this forum so I'm still evaluating.

24 hours with the Superhub
I have had the Superhub installed now for 24 hours on a 30MB upgrade.
I am not technically qualified enough to give a technical report. Suffice it to say that without changing any settings and simply using the default settings as it came out of the box I have given it a robust testing. I have several PCs, two laptops, an iMac, Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, Wireless printer, a Wii and two internet radios.
It has not disappointed. Constant top figures using Speedtest.net. Excellent coverage all over the house for wireless. The streaming of HD video was superb.
So far I am a happy chap!

Re: 24 hours with the Superhub
Well... all I can say then is that there must be a good batch and a bad batch of Hubs and I've 2 of the bad batch so far. Both have had terrible signals..
Anyway, I'm glad to hear yours has been trouble free...

Mine has been on solid for 2 weeks today without any glitches and I can see both the Superhub's wifi signal and my Edimax's wifi signal as that is used as an Access Point.

Re: Superhub, so far, so good!
Got mine installed on Thursday. Activation call answered immediately and it was simple and easy.
Tested speed several times and always 30MB and sometimes a bit more!
Reliable and great with apple TV HD which I thought may be a risk. Also great with iPad, iPhones and a couple of laptops.
Don't think it's possible to adjust DNS settings which is a shame but so far I'm really pleased. Hope I feel the same in 6 months and onwards!

I've found the Superhub to be a decent piece of kit so far. Welcome to CF
