Importing CD's with iTunes...

Spent 2 hours importing various CD's. Changed the iTunes media folder to be in my music folder. It then asked about copying files clicked ok..

This then duplicated every file and left a broken link behind for each song...

Now I have restored the folder to normal, by deleting them from the iTunes program but not from the PC. I have music that I have downloaded previously but the imported CDs have gone walk abouts.

Any ideas where to find them?

Re: Importing CD's with iTunes...

Have you looked in the My Music folder, then in the Itunes folder.

Re: Importing CD's with iTunes...

Have you clicked (under Edit/Preferences/Advanced) the "Copy files into iTunes Media Folder when adding to library" option?
