chosing pc speakers

I want to upgrade from my old creative inspire digital 5500. Looking at Logitech Z506 / Logitech X-540 / Creative Inspire T6200 to connect to my pc and maybe my tv. All 3 have 5.1 surround. Which one would you recommend and why? The price is more or less the same.

or would you recommend any others in the same price range?

I've looked at them because I do really like the look of them... but I'm struggling to think where I could place the subwoofer, since it needs to be a metre away from any electrical equipment...

hhmm.. actually, having looked at the manual the only thing it talks about is 6 inches space between the cooling fins and anything - gaz, any comments? - how have you got it set up?

I have the subwoofer behind the TV stand, more than 6in from the V+box.

The overall sound is ok, powerfull, but the bass it's typical American "wooooof" not British controlled "boop"
