Re: Portable FTP Client for USB stick?

Go to www.portableapps.com you can get a whole suite of applications that run straight from a USB pen with their own menu etc. It include Filezilla which is a very useful FTP client

Re: Portable FTP Client for USB stick?

Every windows PC is FTP capable on the file explorer (not internet explorer), just put in the //ftp.X.X.X and select LOGIN AS

Re: Portable FTP Client for USB stick?

It's hardly the best solution though although a good point

Re: Portable FTP Client for USB stick?

IMO not a solution at all. Every single time I try to use it, it just hangs and I have to end task on winExplorer.

PuTTy has an FTP client, which is just an EXE that will run from anywhere

Re: Portable FTP Client for USB stick?

Thanks for the replies

I went with Filezilla Portable.
It is mainly for emergency if I need to FTP into an account from my brothers house.
