Despite earlier news on Ronnie's demise being premature, his wife and manager Wendy has confirmed that he passed away at 7.45 am today after losing his battle with cancer.
A sad loss to the metal community, the man was an amazing vocalist and until recently still performing despite being almost 70
Very sad news. I`ve loved Ronnies vocals and personality through many bands and different years and i`m now very sad to learn of his passing. R.I.P Ronnie, hope you`re keeping Cozy company now. Rock their socks off up there.
