2nd TV from virgin plus box

Hi
I've looked through the forum but can't find an answer to this - so sorry of it is answered elsewhere..

Is it possible to view virgin on a second tv using a single VPlus box? Current TV is connected via HDMI. Am looking to run the signal around 20 metres to my study.

Thanks for any assistance
Milky

If the second TV is a normal one you need a SCART to RF converter which plugs into the VCR Scart socket (or a SCART Wirless sender system)

If the second TV is an HDTV you can use an HDMI Splitter to send the signal to both TVs

dont you need a 2 into 1 scart splitter as well? or do you just switch where the box scart goes when you head upstairs?

I would be interested in how a wireless sender can work with the v+ box, not for the hd but for the recorded movies to be played and sent to the bedroom TV. is this a hdmi splitter and cable upto the bedroom or is there a wireless way? or can the v+ send the scart signal wirelessly if the TV downstairs is using the HDMI port?

With the Scart to RF converter you don't need a switch box. you can split it just as you would a roof aerial signal

For Wireless the VCR Scart remains enabled when the V+ is on HDMI - so to play recorded programs you can use the 'Copy to DVD/VCR' Facility. This queues up all the recorded programs you select and plays them out one by one via the VCR Scart. However you would have to set it going before you went upstairs
