Erm What That Mean ?

Lool im not got a clue about all this but anyway...

I Used newsgroup to see whats up with my high jitter & ping and slow speeds
anyway... i got this back

I can see a high utilisation issue on the UBR which handles your connection.
I have raised this to our network teams to investigate. Please accept my
apologies for the inconvenience this has caused.

Can Anyone tell me more infor Or What it all means ?
and how easy isit for them to fix ?

cheers.

Re: Erm What That Mean ?

The point at which your broadband service connects to Virgin's network is overloaded because there are too many subscribers on it. Looks like the sales team in your area has had a good month.

The solution is for them to put in more kit and split you all between some new UBRs. Fewer subscribers connected to more UBRs means less congestion ('over-utilisation') and a better internet experience for you.

This can happen within weeks, or if you're unlucky it can take months to resolve.
