Re: Modem Signal Levels..Are They Ok?

You said elsewhere the speeds were constant and the pings low so I don't think any comment really needs to be made. If the signals weren't fine the speeds wouldn't be constant and/or the pings low.

Re: Modem Signal Levels..Are They Ok?

Take no notice of signal levels unless you have a problem.

Mine are high, and when the engineers installed my 50Mb line, they ummed and ahhed about them, asked me if i ever had any problems, I told them no and always got full speed, they didnt seem too concerned

Re: Modem Signal Levels..Are They Ok?

Agreed with Rik and BBings. It's always best if someone posting their levels tells their experience story rather than fishing for an opinion.

Mind you, if something stands out as anomalous, a bit of speculation from our side becomes a potentially interesting chase to see if that speculation was correct.

Re: Modem Signal Levels..Are They Ok?

You are on a 10Mb connection and are a EX-Telewest customer with almost perfect power levels so if the is an issue you should contact Tech Support.
