A mate of mine just downgraded his services and got a new router

So a mate of mine has downgraded from triple xl to the basic package and virgin have very kindly sent him a new router.

the new router is a black D-Link DIR615 N ype wireless router.

I want to know if I can get one of these for free, i'm on the vip package and have been for quite some time signed up to vip not long after it came out) and I had to fight just to get the netgear G router with the virgin locked firmware.

Cheers for any help

Re: A mate of mine just downgraded his services and got a new router

He was rather lucky as the is no criteria to receive a router with a downgrade and unless you upgrade you would be unlikely to receive a router.

Even if your own router was found to be faulty they would replace it like for like, so you would receive another Netgear WGR614 router.
