Unhappy V+ hdmi problems

Hi, got a problem with my v+ box after fitting a hdmi cable to it.

went to settings and tried to change it to HD1080 wide, but with no luck. Tried another setting and I thought it took but now I can't see any picture/sound/menu its as if my tv can't tune into the v+ box.

If i change the scart cable over i can get picture & sound but no menu. have tried reformatting the box to get it back to its original state but with no luck.. can anyone help ??

Re: V+ hdmi problems

Why do you have 3 threads for the same problem ?its very confusing please stick to just the one in future .....

All the answers are in the FAQ's here http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/10...855-v-faq.html

You only really need one connection from the V+ box and that is HDMI, the scart is there for tv sets that dont have an HDMI socket ...plug the HDMI lead ibto the HDMI socket on the V+ box,the other end goes to HDMI socket on the tv ...go to tv settings and select HDMI input and you should have a picture,if not try a different lead it might just be faulty ......
