Latency spikes.

Hello. Recently VM have been starting to annoy me :[

Our Internet connection was bought first and foremost for gaming. Considering its a pretty package with TV, phone etc, we decided to take VM Broadband too.

The thing is, latency spikes. Its really really doing my head in. I play a variation of games, primarily World of Warcraft. WoW doesn't tend to be too affected by the spikes, since it is playable to a degree at the latency is spikes too. But its the FPS games where it kills me.

When im playing Counter Strike, at worst, I'll time out for 10 seconds, warping around etc. It is extremely frustrating. I used to play professionally, but its too frustrating to try and play and put effort it, just to have it all shot up the wall when I get lag...

There has to be some way of sorting it... I've tried opening all of the ports on my router for the games I play, but it makes no difference. It is 'OK' SOMETIMES during the very early hours of the morning, which leads me to believe it is a problem with the VM service. They either cannot provide stable service, or their has been maintenance for the past year or 2 :P

Please, someone help before my moniter goes airbourne.
