Exclamation Canon CanoScan 2700F

Hi all,

I've just managed to acquire a Canon CanoScan 2700F so I can scan in some old 35mm and APS photos.

It comes with a ISA SCSI apapter and has an old style 25pin (I think that's what it is) SCSI connector.

I cannot use this in my PC becuase there are no ISA ports - just PCI. So how can I attach this to my PC? W

The specs can be found here.

Re: Canon CanoScan 2700F

Yeah - sorry - forgot to update this.

Managed to get hold of a PCI SCSI adapter plus the correct SCSI cable and adapter and it's now connected to my Windows 7 32bit PC.

There is a driver for XP which I've installed on Windows 7 - yes it did complain but I ignored it's whining and installed it anyway....and it works fine - no issues and I'm now busy scanning APS IX240 negatives.

BTW - If anybody would like their APS IX240 negs scanned, then PM me - I'll do it for a small charge!! :-)
