Spam hijacked

Hi,

Could anyone give advice on what else I can do with my email address. I keep having to change my email address because ever so often I start to get spam and then the spammers start to hijack the email address.

I've just started to get more spam and even a spam from my own email address.

Any advice would be grateful.

Re: Spam hijacked

Thoroughly scan your system for trojans/malware.
Set up a throw away mail addy with Hotmail or similar exclusive to use for registration purposes.
Set up a white list filter, using your address book as the basis, set to auto delete anything that is not included.

When signing up for services use Melt Mail!

http://www.meltmail.com

It gives you a temp email address which fowards to your normal inbox for a certain amount of hours. Any mail sent after that gets discarded.
