BB Speed.

Just tested my speed and this was the result;
7816 kbits downloaded in 2.016 sec

I believe this is around 4mb connection on a cable modem arounnd 5 years old (silver box) "where's my upgrade" tells me that my area had a 10mb upgrade in June this year. Is there anything i need to do to recieve this?
Modem has been off during holiday and restarted.
