Get new virgin modem today.....

Right....

Got a new modem today because my old one didnt cope with the 4mb - 10mb upgrade and it was sitting at 5mb....

The new one is sitting at 10mb bang on...

But i was curious and pluged my old modem back in while the other one was on and it worked and its not sharing the speed at all, im getting 10mb from the new one and 5mb from the old one......

Has this happened to anyone else, and is this a permanent thing, it better be

No it won't be. Once all the records get updated, your old modem will be barred from the network
