Splitting freeview signal
I have a one for all aerial running to a freeview box - & it is great. I also have a second TV with built in freeview, which is normally worked with my virgin box. I would like to split the signal from the all for one aerial. To send it to the second TV ( because I can ok)
Question
I need to split the cable ( some sort of Y fitting ?) & get two pieces of cable with bits and pieces
Can you guess what I want to know !!!!
Can some tell me what to get from Maplins would be good. (It is the first time I have been let down by a member of there staff.) Clearly I was not making myself clear to him , wanted me to get a digital sender! , as I can only be there for 10mins or so( my lunch break- have to get there & back)
I really would like to walk in say I want this & this & go

Re: Splitting freeview signal
Theres no reason why not, you might need a booster if your signal levels aren't too great

Re: Splitting freeview signal
I`ve done a split off my aerial, got the `Y`adaptor from local D.I.Y.store(Focus)
works fine,I`m thinking will a 3rd set still be O.K.with another split? Brian.

Re: Splitting freeview signal
Again, it depends on your signal level, you might need a booster

Re: Splitting freeview signal
I have done the same , Have TV down stairs and have split cable with the y splitter and have gone up to my sons bedroom to connect to his tv , which makes it a very long lead but works fine . Bought mine from B & Q
