help

This is probably very simple for everyone else other than me! I need to connect my tv aerial cable into an extension cable because i want to run 2 tvs from one aerial. The origianl tv cable is just a basic lead.I think i need to cut something and take away the copper wire??? Is there a very simple diagram somewhere on the internet.I shall be so grateful

Easiest option is to buy a "splitter" for the aerial lead. Should be available in any good DIY shop. I've even seen them in my local Tesco. That way you won't need to cut any wires, it'll all be push fit.

A passive splitter should be dirt cheap but it might be worthwhile paying a bit extra and getting an active one with an amplifier in it. I bought one about 25 years ago and it's still going strong.
