Urgent Help- Number location
I have a number here from Vodafone, i cant ring them as i have no credit but i got a miss called text from a number who rang at 4pm. call back service thing. My phone was off at that time but The number is not recognized by my phone, i have tried to call it via the +44 and 077, +7...etc but still nothing, I can say it goes 1515483 but I have no idea what this number could be or how to locate the area code, if its even a real number, but its bothering me because someone i know is in hospital. Can anyone shed light on how i find out?

Re: Urgent Help- Number location
If +44 is in front of the number then do as above and remove it and add a 0 to the front for the proper land line dialling number.

Re: Urgent Help- Number location
It's probably a wrong number. As Zing says, if it's important, she'll call back.

Re: Urgent Help- Number location
If it is 0151-548-3XXX (or +44-151-548-3XXX) then it's a BT landline in Knowsley, Merseyside.

In my experience, some PBXs are configured to include the +44 (UK) code on the front of their caller ID so your phone may be displaying that.

Re: Urgent Help- Number location
Heh ... I remember when you had to buy a 'code decoder' booklet from BT if you wanted to know where an area code resolved to.
Incidentally, Knowsley is Knowsley, not Liverpool.
