As per my previous thread, I have had all kinds of trouble with my digital tv through a samsung smt-2100c since an Ld:20 error last Tuesday.......bad picture quality, freezing, sound dips.....when I go into the Engineering pages I met with flashing possible problems (ORANGE + RED).
This is my engineering page info..,,Can anyone please tell me what this means?? and why the Virgin engineer said the signal was fine and the AGC errors are a faulty stb (now replaced and still doing exactly the same thing!!!!)??
Possible errors Page 8 and 10
Page 8 = DVB DEMOD STATUS
Tuner AGC % - 40
ORANGE
IF/Combined AGC% - 54/47
SNR (db) 47.0
Page 10 = Downstream
Tuner AGC % - Flashing
RED 100
IF AGC % - 72
Combined AGC % - 85
ORANGE
SNR (db) - 31.0
It also appears that the DVB lock status goes unlocked, but I'm not sure if this is a glitch as it only seems to happen by changing pages...
Is the above a problem and if so what is the problem ?????
