Hi guys - have seen some really cool animated display pics on WLM (msn) and various chat forums. There seems to be 2 types which are based on animations and photographs/video. How do you create the latter?
um, well I just nick all the ones I like and save them as .gif files on my pc, then upload them to your own webspace - I have found myspace is handy for this (but I do have to keep a notebook list of what the addresses of the images are (right click - then properties, copy this and then post it where you are asked for the URL of your image such as when you post on here), as they have changed the rule that you can only have x amount of pictures... hope this helps! i
I guess if you have Flash you could make them and then convert it to an animated swf file.
Some video editing programmes let you export short clips as gifs too.
Have a hunt around. There must be some shareware somewhere that can do this.
