Have i-websolutions gone to the wall??

Hello, i just thought id post this on here because i-web used to be pretty strongly related to cable forum.
One of my mates setup a domain with i-web last week, they have heard nothing back (bar from the automated emails at setup) about their domain and its not been setup to resolve to the correct place. He has logged a support ticket on their site but is getting no response.
I feel a bit of a prat because I recomended them to him!!
Does anyone on here know anything about i-web or whats happening with them?

Cheers

DJ

Re: Have i-websolutions gone to the wall??

Well our site is up and the email is working BUT there has been a distinct lack of response for about a month on the support forum
http://forum.i-websolutions.co.uk/
They have had issues with harware recently but as far as I know there is no financial reason why they should be "going to the wall"

Re: Have i-websolutions gone to the wall??

Whilst some of the I-web admins are CF members, CF hasn't used I-web's services for a long while. However the NTHWclan does have their own server hosted alongside the iweb setups and there are currently no problems there.

Has anyone posted questions on i-web's own forum, in addition to the support tickets?

Re: Have i-websolutions gone to the wall??

Yep, no reply as of 2 weeks ago. Not good enough to be honest and there are a few of us wondering why not one member of I-webs' team has actually taken time to answer questions like why has UK3 mysql been down for 2 weeks without being fixed.

Re: Have i-websolutions gone to the wall??

Well it does seem like its been working for my services, the one time it did go off was for non payment of bills which was resolved within an hour with everything back up.

I'll pass this thread on to kp to see if he can shed any light on the matter but I do know that he does not visit cable forum as often as he did in the past and that he may simply have not noticed this thread.

Re: Have i-websolutions gone to the wall??

my i-web hosted sites are working with no problems.

their forum seems to be short on replies, but that is a matter for i-web forum, not cf

I'm surprised, though, Willy & Adam are usually very customer focused

Re: Have i-websolutions gone to the wall??

I am an i-web customer and a bit concerned about lack of responses. During November we kept losing service and once it went out for 4 whole days.

There are a couple of threads about this on the i-web forum and no one has heard from the staff for over 3 weeks now.

As for being on holiday... are there only 2 of them? What if their server crashes again?

Re: Have i-websolutions gone to the wall??

Yea my site is fine too and never had any problems with it, but with the forums being dead and no response to support tickets the service seems a bit crappy. This is a real shame because when i setup my site 2 years ago the guys from i-web couldnt be more helpful!!

Cheers
