MS Access Gurus + Multiple Emails & Help

Hi all,

I believe this is possible within access but as I am not access db expert am seeking advice on the below.

What I need to do is build a database with close on 2000 individual email addresses (which need to be added or subtracted regularly) in with a template email reply and at the click of a button email these people with the template repy which may vary depending on the nature of the problem.

Its for work purposes not spam but as we serve anything from 600 to 2000 users on various problems we need to let certain people if not all people know when the database they use is going to be taken down etc.

At the moment we only capture 10% of the main users by way of prereconfigured distribution lists containing 100 email addresses and we are running outlook 2002 with a very flaky outdated exchange server.

We have the 2000 email addresses in an excel sheet but need to configure various distribution lists, any guidance on how to go about this and is it possible via access as the template email contents will vary on occasions.

TIA for any advice.

Whilst the above which I knew about shows how to import into Outlook I am looking for more of a way to send out a template e-mail embedded to the distribution list.
