the best way to do it would be to uninstall TCP/IP, but if you are running WindowsXP, it wont let you

If you are running XP, try this little registry fix:
- Click Start, and then click Run. The Run dialog box appears.
- Type regedt32.exe in the Run box, and then click OK. The Registry Editor opens.
- In the left pane, navigate to each of the following subkeys:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\DHCP
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\NetBT
- In the right pane, double-click the item DependOnService.
- Delete any references to SYMTDI or NISDRV.
- Click Registry and click Exit to save the changes and close the Registry Editor.
it would be a good idea to back up the registry though before attempting this - just in case
