email forwarding
so i logged into my ntlworld email account from the ntlworld site and in the optiosn theres something called forwarding. but it's kinda vague. if i put my gmail address in there does that mean it'll automatically forward all my email to my gmial inbox? or something else... and if it does do what i think it does, does anyone know how long it takes for them to forward? only i set it up, sent a few test messages and waited ten minutes or so and no sign of them in my gmail inbox yet. in fact does it actually do anything (well this is ntl)?

Give the server chance to do an update of its config file, that's what you've altered where allowed. Usually takes effect within an hour

Why doesn't it tell you it'll take an hour for changes to take effect?
Thanks anyway.
