Second Decoder

Anyone know where I can buy a second hand decoder to use in a seperate room? I simply refuse to pay TW and extra £15 per month for a box (they even wanted to charge me £75 for increasing co-ax length!). Is it possibly to just get a decoder, plug it in and swap cards over ad-hoc to watch programming in a different room?

Re: Second Decoder

Thanks, well I hope it doesnt get closed and indeed what I asked is not illegal - you can buy Pace boxes online so I would assume it's a perfectly legit enquiry ;-)

Re: Second Decoder

You may be able to buy them, that doesn't make it legal.

You cannot buy boxes and legally connect them to the ntl network - they must be ntl supplied only. AFAIK the same applies to Telewest, so unless someone can provide the team with evidence that this is not the case, this topic will be closed in a few minutes.
