Ntlfreedom downgrade

I phoned 0800 052 2000 to enquire about downgrading my account to the 1p a minute tarriff, as this sounds like its going to be easier than cancelling?

They insisted they cannot help and I must all ntlfreeoms 0870 number which is surprise surprise only open Mon-Fri 9-5 .

Anyone got any tips on how to go about downgrading? Or any ntl staff roaming these boards willing to do a favour! .

Re: Ntlfreedom downgrade

To be honest you should try ntlfreedoms number first on Monday and then IF you get a problem ask here. The people who help here are terrific so we shouldn't be asking them to sort summat out unless all other legit effort has been expended as they do all this in their spare time and shouldn't be the first port of call unless all else has failed. They are really here to help those who are truly at their wits end.

Incog.

As far as i know there is no longer the penny a minute service on ntl freedom,if you try ntlworld dot com, package changes i think you will find there isn't the option to downgrade
