Im having some alittle problem with my SACM (NTL:HOME 120) via USB connection (i know its better to use ethernet but im too lazy to change)
after my cable modem loses connection due to NTL maintenance
or other unknown reasons (my SACM restarts and lights flash from left to right for a moment, testing i think)
i have to restart my computer to get my internet back
even tho the lights on the SACM have returned to normal
any1 know why this happens???
is it possible to get my connection back without restarting comp???
even though it doesnt happen alot
its quite annoying to have to restart even though u can see theres no problem with the SACM any longer
if your running 2000/xp you can run ipconfig /release then ipconfig /renew from the command line
and to add to this... if you are running 98/me you can use ipconfig /release_all and ipconfig /renew_all, or you can type winipcfg in the run dialogue and click release and renew
